Texo Marine provides our clients with a range of support and engineering services specifically tailored to diving and subsea contractors. Texo's management team comprises in excess of 70 years cumulative Diving experience (Air Saturation, Hyperbaric welding, system manufacture, system commissioning) and Subsea Construction covering the North Sea, Middle East, Far East, Brazil, GOM and West Africa. Texo Marine operates a fully ISO 9001:2015 accredited BMS system and we are also accredited by DNV.
THE LEADERSHIP TEAM
Callum has worked in the Subsea sector in both operational and business development roles since graduating from Robert Gordon University in 2005 with an Honours Degree in Economics and later being awarded a Post Graduate Degree in Quantity Surveying.
Following commercial roles at Forum group and Technip, Callum then moved onto the Commercial Management role for Mermaid Subsea based in the Middle East. Callum was responsible for all commercial activities in the western hemisphere covering Diving, Construction and Lay.
Business Development Director
Greig has rich experience garnered from his time working within the supply chain function of some of the industry's major players, namely: Subsea 7, FMC Technologies and Technip.
During his time at Technip, Greig served as logistics lead for the Mearsk Gryphon emergency repair program undertaken by Technip which saw one of the largest movement of reels, mid water arches and specialist equipment from a number of different locations throughout the globe to Lerwick, Peterhead and Aberdeen for installation in the MearskGarp field. In addition, Greig has also been personally involved in over 100 mobilisations from locations as diverse as Leith, Le Trait, Singapore, UAE and West Africa.
Following the opening of the Aberdeen office in late 2016 Greig was appointed Business Development manager and has been primarily responsible for the establishment of the brokerage and technical support function within the UK. Greig was so successful in this role, the company moved its main office from Spain to the UK to be able to offer the full service package to the UK market whilst still supporting international clients.
Operations and Equipment Director
Mike has worked in the oil and diving industry since the early 1980's in various positions starting initially as a Dive Technician then over the years progressing through the ranks to Global Equipment Director at Mermaid Subsea Services before taking up his present position with the business.
Mike has vast experience in commercial diving operational and R&M requirements for in-built and portable SAT & Air dive systems stretching back over thirty years.
During this time he was also heavily involved with Hyperbaric Welding which included design of equipment and systems, supervising scopes of work both on and offshore. His experience in hyperbaric welding includes pipeline tie-in's along with platform structural repairs. He has also been involved in setting up PMS systems with supporting documentation requirements at various companies for Sat, Air and Welding systems.
Mike has many years' experience of organising and supervising work-scopes for maintenance periods, dry dockings and equipment installations from conception through the various stages of a project to completion. As part of his process during any project he instils strict financial and budgetary control.
